Airport To And From The City

How do I get to the city from the airport?
There are several options you can take from the airport to the city and back, but we recommend catching a taxi. It’s not much more expensive than taking the train for example. A one way ride from the airport to central Paris will cost around €50, which a train ticket will cost about €10. For a family of 4 that’s almost the same cost, but there’s one more factor that makes the train very inconvenient depending on your final stop and any connections – many metro stations do not have a lift or an escalator.

How is the metro as an alternative to taxis from the airport?
If you must take the train, ensure that the station you’re getting off at is marked accessible or you’ll be lugging your baggage up and down many stairs. You may also have to do this several times if you need to connect to other lines as part of your journey and finally there’s no marked space for your baggage so you may have problems managing your bags on the metro.
How are the bus options from the airport to the city?
Another option is to take a bus, and there are several options including Roissybus which is the Paris city bus, or Les Cars Air France which is the Air France coach line. However the savings are minimal, and you’ll still need to move your luggage from the stop to your hotel.
